1984 has influenced me by opening my eyes to the complexity of human interaction, and just how fragile someone's will power can be in hopeless scenarios. It also made me
aware of the importance of privacy in a society.
Dorothy Must Die has influenced me because it has shown me that our actions can affect the world around us literally and figuratively. We can choose to be a positive influence on the world or bring it to its knees. This book also enlightened me to the gothic genre which I would like to incorporate more in my art, and possibly my photos.
The Giver influenced me by making me think about the importance of diversity in a society compared to the conformity. Our differences make us strong and the world more interesting. The book also emphasizes the importance of memory and the past, as both allow to learn form our mistakes as well as give us something to live and fight for.
